Who you're dealing with
This website belongs to SpryWorx, the sole proprietorship of Lance LaSpina in Atascadero, California. Using the site means you accept what's on this page. If you don't, you're welcome to close the tab with no hard feelings.
What this site is
It's a place to learn what I do and get in touch. Everything here is general information about my services. Reading it, filling in a form, or booking a call doesn't create a working relationship or a contract between us.
How work actually starts
Nothing on this site is a binding quote or an offer of a fixed price. Every engagement past the free introductory call runs on a separate written agreement that we both sign, and that agreement governs the work, the fees, and the schedule. If something here ever contradicts your signed agreement, your agreement wins.
Advice and outcomes
The pages, blog posts, and events on this site are information, not professional advice for your particular business. I'm not your lawyer, accountant, or financial advisor, and nothing here should be treated as legal, tax, financial, or employment advice.
I also can't promise results. What AI can do for a business depends on that business, and any example, estimate, or range you see here illustrates the kind of thing that's possible rather than guaranteeing what you'd get. Decisions about your business, including anything to do with your staff, remain yours.
The AI assistant
The voice assistant on this site is a demonstration of the kind of tool I build. It's an AI, it will say so if you ask, and like every AI it can be wrong. Treat what it tells you as a friendly starting point, not a commitment from me. Nothing it says binds me to a price, a timeline, or a service, and if it ever contradicts this site or a signed agreement, those come first. The privacy policy explains what happens to your audio.
The fit check
The fit check is a questionnaire to help us both decide whether to talk. Its result is my opinion based on your answers. Completing it doesn't oblige me to take on the work, and it doesn't oblige you to hire me.
What belongs to whom
The writing, design, code, artwork, logo, and photography on this site are mine, along with the SpryWorx name and mark. You're welcome to read it, share a link to it, and quote a reasonable piece of it with credit. Copying it wholesale, republishing it as your own, or using my name or mark to suggest I endorse something needs my written permission first.
Anything you send me through a form stays yours. You're giving me permission to use it for the purpose you sent it: replying to you, and doing the work if we go ahead.
Fair use of the site
Use the site normally and we'll have no problem. Please don't try to break into it, scrape it in bulk, flood my forms, interfere with other visitors, or use anything here for something illegal.
Links to other places
Some pages link to other websites, including my booking page and my portfolio. I don't control the ones I don't own, and I'm not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
The site as it is
I maintain this site carefully, but I offer it as it is. I can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or current, and I may change or remove anything on it at any time. To the fullest extent the law allows, I'm not liable for any loss arising from your use of this site. Nothing here limits any liability that the law doesn't allow me to limit.
Changes to these terms
I'll update this page if the terms change, and the date at the top will tell you when. The version you're reading is the current one.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute belongs in the state or federal courts serving San Luis Obispo County, California.
Getting in touch
